Kalamaki is a small seaside village located on the southern coast of Crete, in the Heraklion regional unit, about 67 kilometers south of the city of Heraklion. It lies close to several places of interest, including Matala, Kommos, the village of Kamilari, and the archaeological site of Phaistos, making it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area.
